Remarks
The story of the race unfolded as follows: Alfredo BOVET, the first one to arrive, was disqualified for not having signed the control sheet at Brinzio. The Italian Cycling Federation canceled the race due to serious irregularities along the route. However, in reality, a race steward had prevented BOVET from signing the control sheet, after which he was disqualified and the event declared "cancelled".
