By decision of March 29, 1934, the UVF sports commission imposed a 100 franc fine on Fernand Mithouard and Paul Chocque and decided to exclude them from the race of the Critérium de l'Echo d'Alger for having taken advantage of the wake of a following car during the second stage to get out of the way and shelter from the wind. In addition, a 6-month suspension was imposed on Mithouard and Chocque from April 2 to October 2, 1934. This suspension was partially lifted on May 1.
